Everybody have a safe and joyous holiday. We are in for the night with a cozy fire, some good steaks, good wine, and some fun movies. Love our tradition of staying in and relaxing. Got alittle pod necklace to show and this weekend need to start updating my Etsy. Can you tell I love my new camera!

Ok so I got to play with the camera today and finally got some photos that I think are OK. I still need to get the right bulb and some gradient paper, BUT I am on my way.
So I have been obsessed with pods lately and have always loved Gail Moore's pods so with a nod to Gail here are "Libby" pods.
Oh and a kitty, or as my daughter likes to call her the "The Shitten"

Well I learned how to do some nifty stuff today. Finished painting the Office/guest room today, and still didn't have time to mess around with my camera so hopefully tomorrow. I will try and take some pictures of all the new rooms painted soon! Yeaaaaaa

Some pictures of my work.

So I thought I would post some oldies but goodies photos of my work. These were shot by a local photographer and used to jury into art shows a in 2008. I took off the art show circuit for 2009
(expect for Bead and Button and the Gathering) to explore metal and combining the two mediums.
Hopefully I will be able to show some of my new work with photos from my new Nikon 3000 I got for Christmas.

I bought a "tutorial" from an artist on a forum that I frequent www.lampworketc.com about how to photograph your work. So hopefully I will be able to post some of my new stuff and it will look good. Thanks Kevan!

Merry Christmas to All.
Thought I should try and give this blog thing another try and post more. However I guess since I have no followers I am just talking to myself....which is pretty normal.
Great Christmas with lots of joy all around. We had a nice relaxing morning and brunch and now are getting
ready to go see Sherlock Holmes, and then back home for yummy left overs from last nights dinner.
Stone Crab claws, beef tenderloin, potatoes all rotten (heheheh that what my Dad used to call them when
we were going up) salad, and the famous Raether Christmas desert from my childhood.
Hope everyone is having a great holiday.
OOOHHHH if forgot I got a new Nikon D3000 so hopefully lots of new pictures and updates.
